Successful Players of Harder German Junior Masters

Two former participants of the “Harder German Junior Masters“ started at the ‘Castello Masters’ of the European Tour which took place in Castellon, Spain from 22nd to 25th October 2009.

Sam Hutsby who played with a Sponsor’s Invitation had previously been successful at the ‘HGJM’ 2005 where he came second. In the ‘Castello Masters’ he achieved an excellent shared eighth place with 14 under par in his second professional tournament. He received an invitation to the Barclays Singapore Open due to the price-money of € 42.000,-- he had won at his start of the PGA European Tour.

The winner of the HGJM 2006, Branden Grace settled well in the European Tour and again demonstrated his special skills with a shared 25th place. However, with an earned price-money amounting to €161.257,-- and being in 149th place at the Race of Dubai, he still has to fight for his tour ticket in 2010.

Other participants of the HGJM (2004 and 2005) are on their way to the European Tour. Niklas Glans (Sweden) and Jack Senior (England) have taken the first hurdle for the qualification and soon will be playing the Second Stage of the Q-School for the European Tour.
